
Fernando S. Gonzalez, a native Californian, born and raised in Truckee, a comunity near Lake Tahoe. He began his career in the architecture and construction industry in 2000. He began by working in the construction industry during his collage summer breaks and started with a prominent excavation company doing all the ground work for a private residential community and for residential homes in the Truckee area. Two summers later, he worked for a prominent custom homebuilder, involving himself in all facets of home construction. It was through this experience he first realized his passion for the industry, and his desire to learn more. At that time he changed majors from Art to Architecture. After receiving his Architectural degree, Mr. Gonzalez worked for some of Truckee's most prestigious architectural firms, during which time he assisted in the design and construction of numerous residential and commercial projects.
Mr. Gonzalez then went on to work in San Francisco for two other Architecture firms, One specializing in Hospitals, Healthcare facilities and Comercial buildings. The other being a high-end custom home architecture firm. In 2013 he accepted a three month unpaid internship in New York City where he worked for a environmental engineering firm. Within a short time in NYC, he was offered a full-time job for an architecture firm and has been in New York state ever since. in 2015, He was offered an job in Sag Harbor where he has been ever since.
Mr. Gonzalez then went on to establish his own architectural firm in 2020. His success in both architecture can be attributed to the intimate knowledge he has of both fields. It is Mr. Gonzalez's vision and his quest for excellence that drive him to stay current with the industry’s latest technologies and trends. He currently holds a New York and Virginia Registered Architect License, and is NCARB Certified.
